Know your mail folders
XgenPlus has built-in folders in the left pane, each with its unread count. Inbox, Sent, Draft and Trash work as usual. Spam-Promo holds spam and promotional mail, Template holds reusable mails, Snoozed holds mail until a time you choose, Secure needs a separate key to open, and Storage opens your cloud files.
How to know your mail folders
- Look at the folder list in the left pane.
- Click a folder name to open it. The number next to it is the count of unread mails.
- Click More to show folders that are hidden in a long list.
- To make your own folders, click your profile picture and open Folders.
When to use it
On her first day at acme.in, Anita finds a mail she was expecting in Spam-Promo, a saved reply format in Template, and a reminder she snoozed earlier waiting in Snoozed.
Options
| Folder | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Inbox | Mail you receive. |
| Sent | Copies of mail you send. |
| Draft | Mail you started but have not sent. |
| Trash | Deleted mail. Mail is emptied from Trash automatically after 30 days. |
| Spam-Promo | Spam and bulk or promotional mail. Mail is emptied from here automatically after 30 days. |
| Template | Mails saved as templates, to reuse as a starting point. |
| Snoozed | Mail you snoozed. It returns to view at the date and time you picked. |
| Secure | A protected folder that asks for your separate secure key. It shows how much secure space is left. |
| Storage | A link to your cloud storage for files. |
Snoozed mail
When you snooze a mail from the reading pane, it leaves the Inbox and waits in Snoozed until the date and time you chose. Open it from Snoozed to snooze it again or to unsnooze it. In Snoozed, the read, unread and move actions are hidden.
Good to know
- Your organisation may rename some folders, so the names you see can differ slightly.
- Category views such as High Priority or Reply Awaited are not folders. A mail stays in its folder and also appears in the matching category.
- Deleted mail is not gone for good. Mail removed from Trash or Spam-Promo can be recovered from Archive of Deleted Emails within your domain's retention period, 7 days by default.
