Example
Rohit, the server admin at a company hosting acme.in and example.in, opens Reports › Domain Statistics after users complain about slow delivery. He sees acme.in has far more outgoing mail than usual, clicks it, drills down to yesterday and finds that one mailbox sent most of it.
Good to know
- Statistics include every domain on the server except deleted ones.
- In a user's mail list, today's mails come from the live log and earlier days from stored logs.
- Archive mailboxes are left out of the top sender and receiver tables.
- There are no export buttons on these pages. For a spreadsheet, use Reports › Graphical Report or Reports › Reports.
Common questions
What do the two numbers in each cell mean?
The first number is how many mails, the second is their total size. On the domain list the size switches between KB, MB, GB and TB. On the year, month and day lists it is always KB.
Can a domain administrator see this page?
Yes, but a domain administrator sees only their own domain, so there is no domain list to choose from. The page for domain administrators is separate.
