Use several addresses or mailboxes
Webmail opens one mailbox per sign-in. For several identities in that mailbox, add email aliases and other From addresses, each with its own name and signature, and pick one in the From list when you compose. To keep several mailboxes side by side, use the XgenPlus Android app, which holds up to 10 accounts with a Unified Inbox, or add them to a mail app over IMAP.
How to work with several addresses
- Add an email alias for each extra address in your domain, such as sales@ or support@.
- Add other addresses you own and verify them with the code mailed to each one.
- Give each address its own display name and signature.
- When you compose, pick the identity in the From list.
- For separate mailboxes, add them to the XgenPlus Android app and switch between them.
When to use it
Priya at acme.in answers customers as Acme Support and writes to partners as herself. She adds a support@acme.in alias with its own signature, and picks the right identity in the From list each time she writes.
Which option to use
| You want to | Use |
|---|---|
| Send as different names or addresses from one mailbox | Aliases and other From addresses |

Common questions
Can I sign in to two XgenPlus mailboxes in the same browser?
Webmail works with one mailbox at a time. For a second mailbox, use another browser or a separate browser profile, or keep both in the XgenPlus Android app.
Does each identity get its own signature?
Yes. Each From address can have its own display name and signature, and you can set one as default.
Why can't I add another From address?
Your administrator must allow multiple From addresses for your account. Aliases in your own domain do not need this.
