Good to know

  • These server names are the same for every XgenPlus customer, whatever your own domain is. Do not use your own domain name as the server name.
  • Your administrator must allow POP and IMAP for your account. If Enable POP/IMAP is missing from Settings, ask them.
  • In Enable POP/IMAP you choose a start date. Older mail does not appear in the app.

Common questions

Should I use IMAP or POP?

Use IMAP if you read mail on more than one device. It keeps folders and read status in step with webmail. POP downloads mail to one device.

Does my app find the settings automatically?

No. XgenPlus has no automatic set-up for mail apps, so choose manual set-up and enter the settings yourself.

Should I add XgenPlus as an Exchange account?

No. Choose IMAP when the app offers a choice, and use the settings above. For calendar and contacts on your phone, use the XgenPlus mobile app.
