See who received and read your mail
To see what happened to a mail you sent, open it in Sent and look at the small icon next to each recipient. It shows Delivered, Read or Bounced; hover over it for a tooltip. The same status shows as an icon in the Sent list, so you can scan many mails at once.

How to see who received and read your mail
- Open Sent and click the mail.
- Look at the icon next to each recipient's address.
- Hover over an icon to read Delivered, Read or Bounced.
When to use it
Anita in HR sent offer letters to 12 candidates. She opens the mail in Sent and sees that nine have Read it, two are Delivered but unread, and one Bounced, so she calls that candidate for the right address.
What each status means
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Delivered | The mail reached the recipient's mailbox. |
| Read | The recipient opened the mail. |
| Bounced | The mail could not be delivered. Check the address and resend. |
Good to know
- Status is shown for normal mail in the Sent folder.
- For a mail that bounced, use Resend after correcting the address.
