Change your time zone

To change your time zone, open Settings › Default Settings, find Timezone and choose your zone from the list. It saves as soon as you choose. Mail times in your mailbox and scheduled sending then follow that zone. If you can't see Timezone, your administrator has hidden it.

How to change your time zone

Where: Settings › Default Settings › Timezone

  1. Click your profile picture, then Settings, and open Default Settings.
  2. Find Timezone.
  3. Choose your zone from the list. It saves straight away.

When to use it

Arjun works in the Dubai branch of a company based in Pune. He sets his time zone to Gulf Standard Time, so his mail times and scheduled mails match his local day.

Good to know

  • Check the time zone before you schedule a mail, because the scheduled time follows this setting.
  • This setting changes the time zone only for you, not for your colleagues.
