Unsubscribe from a newsletter

Open a mail from a newsletter, tap the overflow menu and choose Unsubscribe. If the sender gave an email address, a pre-filled mail opens for you to send. If the sender gave a web link, it opens in your browser. The item appears only when the mail carries unsubscribe details.

Where: Open message › overflow › Unsubscribe

  1. Open the newsletter.
  2. Tap the overflow menu.
  3. Tap Unsubscribe.
  4. Send the pre-filled mail, or follow the web page.

When to use it

Rohit stops a store's daily offers in two taps.

Good to know

  • If you do not see Unsubscribe, the mail has no unsubscribe link. Block the sender or mark it as spam instead.
  • The mail itself goes through your normal sending, so it appears in Sent.
