Add recipients from contacts

Type part of a name or address in To, Cc or Bcc and tap a suggestion. Suggestions come from your phone contacts and, on XgenPlus accounts, from your organisation address book marked Global. For the whole contact list, use Add from Contacts, and Reload Contacts to refresh the address book.

How to add recipients from contacts

Where: Compose › To field, overflow › Add from Contacts / Reload Contacts

  1. In To, Cc or Bcc, type a few letters of a name or address.
  2. Tap a suggestion.
  3. For the contact picker, open the overflow menu and tap Add from Contacts.
  4. On an XgenPlus account, tap Reload Contacts to download the organisation address book.

When to use it

Meera reloads contacts once, then finds any colleague by first name.

Good to know

  • Phone suggestions need the Contacts permission.
  • The organisation address book must be enabled on webmail. If it is not, the app offers to enable it.
  • Reload Contacts shows only on XgenPlus accounts.
