Send a group mail on Android

In a mail list, tap the compose button and choose Group Mail. Pick the sender in From and the group in To, then write the subject and message. Tap Send, or open the menu and tap Schedule Send to deliver it later. You can attach files up to 50 MB in total.

How to send a group mail on android

Where: Mail list › compose button › Group Mail

  1. In a mail list, tap the compose button and choose Group Mail.
  2. Pick your sender address in From and the group in To.
  3. Enter the subject and write the message. The toolbar lets you format the text.
  4. Add attachments from the menu if needed.
  5. Tap Send, or open the menu and tap Schedule Send.

When to use it

Meera sends the weekly bulletin to the all-staff group, scheduled for Monday morning.

Good to know

  • If a group has no members, the app says No contact/email in selected group.
  • Group Mail needs an internet connection and is available for XgenPlus mailboxes.
  • The app asks you to choose a sender and a group before it sends.

Common questions

Can I create or change groups in the app?

No. Groups are managed on the server. The app only lists the groups you can write to.
