Attach a calendar event to a mail on Android
In Compose, open the attach menu and tap Attach Cal Event. Enter the subject, start and end time, attendees and place, then tap the save icon. The app attaches a calendar file to your mail and adds the attendees to Cc. Tick Add event to phone calendar to keep a copy.

How to attach a calendar event to a mail on android
Where: Compose › attach menu › Attach Cal Event
- In Compose, open the attach menu and tap Attach Cal Event. Allow the Calendar permission if asked.
- Fill in Subject / Description, the start and end date and time, and the TimeZone.
- Add attendees by typing an email or picking from contacts.
- Add the Venue / Location and Agenda / Details.
- Optionally tick Add event to phone calendar and choose a calendar.
- Tap the save icon to attach the invitation.
When to use it
Rohit drafts a mail about the project kickoff, attaches an event with three attendees, and sends it. They get the invitation file and are copied on the mail.
Good to know
- The invitation is built on your phone and sent as an attachment with the mail.
- The same person cannot be added twice as an attendee.
- The Event Color field is for display only and is not sent.
Common questions
What does the app check before saving?
It needs a subject, and the end time must not be before the start time. If you want the event on your phone calendar, you must choose a calendar.
