Invite people to a meeting
To invite people, open the event in Calendar, go to the Attendees tab and search for or type each address. Click Save and confirm that you want to send invitations. Choose the From address, click See Preview, then Send Meeting Invite. You can add up to 100 addresses at a time, inside or outside your organisation.
How to invite people to a meeting
- Open the event in Calendar, or create a new one.
- Open the Attendees tab and search for attendees, or click Choose from Contacts.
- Optionally mark one attendee as Chairman and one as Secretary.
- Click Save and confirm that you want to send invitations to guests.
- Choose the address under Select From Email ID, click See Preview, then click Send Meeting Invite.
When to use it
Meera, company secretary at acme.in, invites 12 board members, including two independent directors at outside addresses, and sends the invite from the shared secretary@acme.in alias.
Options

Good to know
- You can add up to 100 email addresses at a time.
- You cannot add yourself as an attendee.
- The invitation carries a calendar file, so Outlook, Gmail and other calendar apps can add it too.
Common questions
Can I invite people outside my organisation?
Yes. Type their email address in the Attendees tab. They get the invitation by mail and can reply with Yes, Maybe or No without an XgenPlus account.
Can I save the meeting without sending invites?
Yes. Choose Save Meeting Only instead of Save & Send Mail.
Can I send the invite from a shared or alias address?
Yes. Pick that address under Select From Email ID on the preview step.
