Search your Storage files on Android

In Storage in the XgenPlus app, tap Search. Choose Filename, Filetype or Folder, type your text and tap search. Use * as a wildcard, for example pdf in Filetype. Results are grouped by folder, and each file offers Send Link, Delete and Download.

How to search your storage files on android

Where: Menu › Storage › Search

  1. Open Storage and tap the search icon.
  2. Choose Filename, Filetype or Folder.
  3. Type your text. Use * as a wildcard.
  4. Tap the search button.
  5. Open a result, or use Send Link, Delete or Download on a file.

When to use it

Anita needs last quarter's agreements. She searches Filetype for "pdf" and sees every PDF grouped by folder.

  • Search covers all your Storage folders.
  • Search needs internet.
