Reset a forgotten password in the app

On the Set up a new account screen, type your email address and tap Forgot Password. The Reset Password screen opens with your address. Follow the prompts to get a new password. This works for XgenPlus addresses only, and it needs an internet connection.

Where: Set up a new account › Forgot Password

  1. Open the app and go to Set up a new account.
  2. Type your email address.
  3. Tap Forgot Password.
  4. On Reset Password, follow the prompts.

When to use it

Rohit returns from leave and cannot recall his password. He taps Forgot Password in the app and resets it without calling support.

Good to know

  • The reset works for addresses on XgenPlus. For a Gmail or other outside account, use that provider's reset page.
  • After you reset, sign in again with the new password on every phone and mail program that uses the mailbox.
  • If you remember your password and just want a new one, see the related page on changing it.
