Change your password in the app

Open Settings, tap your XgenPlus account, then Change Password. Type your old password, the new one and the new one again, then save. The new password must follow the rules your organisation set. After the change, sign in again with it on webmail and other mail apps. It needs internet.

How to change your password in the app

Where: Settings › account › Change Password

  1. Open Settings and tap your XgenPlus account.
  2. Tap Change Password.
  3. Type your old password, then the new one twice.
  4. Save the change.

When to use it

Rohit's password is due to expire. He changes it from the app on his way to work.

Good to know

  • The length and symbols allowed come from your organisation's password policy. The app checks them as you type.
  • The old password stops working at once. Update other phones and mail programs with the new one.
  • You need an internet connection. Otherwise you see a "no internet" message.
  • This works for XgenPlus accounts. For Gmail and other accounts, change the password with that provider.
