Find a mail you can't see
To find a missing mail, type the sender's name or a word from the subject in the search box at the top and press Enter. If it is not found, open Trash and Spam-Promo. Mail deleted from Trash can still be brought back from Archive of Deleted Emails within your domain's retention period, 7 days by default.
How to find a mail you can't see
- Type the sender, subject or a word you remember in the search box and press Enter.
- Use the filter icon beside the search box for Advanced Search by date or folder.
- Open Trash and Spam-Promo and look there.
- Check your own folders and Snoozed, as a rule or a snooze may have moved it.
- If you deleted it from Trash, choose Archive of Deleted Emails from the filter icon and restore it.
When to use it
Sunil cannot find last week's travel booking. Search for "booking" shows nothing in Inbox, so he opens Trash, finds that he deleted it by mistake and moves it back.
