Choose folders for Sent, Trash and more
Open Settings, tap your account, then Folders. Choose the Archive, Drafts, Sent, Spam and Trash folders on your server, which folders to display, offer as move targets and search, and a folder to open when the account starts. Folder choices decide where Delete, Archive and Send put your mail.

How to choose folders for sent, trash and more
Where: Settings › account › Folders
- Open Settings and tap your account.
- Tap Folders.
- Tap the setting to change, for example Trash folder.
- Choose a folder.
When to use it
Anita picks a folder called Done as her Archive folder, so Archive files mail there.

Good to know
- Hiding a folder from the list does not stop it syncing.
- If no Trash folder is chosen, Delete removes mail for good.
- Archive and Spam appear only when the server can move mail.
