Check for new mail

To check for new mail now, open Inbox and click Check Mail (↻) in the toolbar. Your Inbox also refreshes by itself every 5 minutes, and straight away when a new-mail notification arrives, so you only need the button when you are waiting for a particular mail.

How to check for new mail

  1. Open Inbox.
  2. Click Check Mail (↻) in the toolbar. New mails appear at the top of the list.

When to use it

Anita is logging in to a government portal and waiting for a one-time password. Instead of waiting for the next automatic refresh, she clicks Check Mail and the mail appears.

Good to know

  • The counters next to folders and categories update along with the list.
  • If an expected mail still does not show, look in Spam-Promo.
