How to copy an event to another date
- Open the event in Calendar.
- Change the date or time to when the copy should take place.
- Tick Duplicate.
- Click Save and choose to create a new event with the same details.
When to use it
Anita runs "Excel Basics" training for Batch 1 on Tuesday. She duplicates it to next Tuesday for Batch 2, keeping the training hall booking and the trainer, then swaps the attendee list.
Good to know
- The copy must be on a different date or time from the original.
- For a meeting that happens on a fixed pattern, such as every Monday, make it repeat instead.
