Choose plans and the number of users

At the Customize step of the buy page, set the number of users on each plan. You can mix plans on one domain, for example Starter for staff and Enterprise for leadership. Storage is pooled across the organisation. The trial is the exception and cannot be mixed. The administrator login you create counts as one user.

How to choose plans and the number of users

Where: xgenplus.com › Buy plan › Customize

  1. At Customize, find the plan you chose. It is the primary plan.
  2. Set the user count on that plan.
  3. To mix plans, set a count on any other plan too.
  4. Check Total users and the order summary.
  5. Continue to payment.

When to use it

Acme's accounts team of 12 only needs basic mail, while 6 managers need more storage and security. The admin buys 12 users on Starter and 6 on Advance on the same domain, and gets one invoice.

Good to know

  • Every plan includes 30 email aliases per user.
  • Storage is shared across the whole organisation, and the domain admin decides how much each mailbox gets.
  • You can add users or move users to a higher plan later from the dashboard.

Common questions

Can different teams be on different plans?

Yes. You buy user counts per plan on one domain, manage everyone from one dashboard and get one bill.

Do I name the mailboxes while buying?

Only the administrator login is set while buying. Every other mailbox is created in the admin console after your domain is active.
