Host a video meeting in your mailbox

To host a meeting, click VideoMeet in the top bar, click New Meeting, then Start Now. The meeting opens full screen in your mailbox and you join as the host. Allow your browser to use the camera and microphone. You can share your screen. Click the red X to leave and end the meeting.

How to host a video meeting in your mailbox

  1. Click the VideoMeet icon in the top bar and click New Meeting.
  2. Click Start Now and wait while the meeting is set up.
  3. Allow the browser to use your camera and microphone.
  4. Share your screen from the meeting controls if you need to.
  5. Click the red X to leave and end the meeting.

When to use it

Meera, a teacher at a school using example.in, starts her class meeting from her mailbox and shares her screen to walk through the lesson.

Good to know

  • You do not need to install anything. The meeting runs in your browser.
  • Your mailbox does not log you out for being idle while you are in a meeting.
  • Closing the meeting with the X also clears the meeting link, so create a new meeting next time.
