Split a long form into sections
To split a form into sections, click Add section below your questions in the builder. Give each section a title and short description, and add questions to it. People then fill the form in steps, with a progress bar if you leave Show a progress bar on. The free allowance has up to 3 sections.

How to split a long form into sections
Where: forms.xgenplus.com › Edit form › Add section
- In the builder, scroll to the end of the questions you have and click Add section.
- Type a Section title and, if useful, a description.
- Click Add question inside the new section.
- Click Preview to check the steps.
When to use it
A vendor onboarding form has 20 questions. Rohit splits it into Company, Services and Documents, so a vendor sees three short steps instead of one long page.
Good to know
- Sections appear as "Section 1 of 3" in the builder.
- Section titles and descriptions are optional, but a clear title helps people see where they are.
- A section title that asks for passwords or card details is blocked, like any other text on the form.
Common questions
What happens if I remove a section?
Click Remove on the section and confirm. Its questions move up into the section before it. The first section cannot be removed.
