# Save mail attachments to Storage

To save attachments to Storage, open the mail and click **Copy To Virtual Storage** next to the attachments. Tick the attachments you want, pick a Storage folder and click **Copy to Virtual Storage**. The files are copied into Storage and also stay with the mail. Copying is blocked if it would take you over your space limit.

## How to save mail attachments to Storage

1. Open the mail with the attachments.
2. Click **Copy To Virtual Storage**.
3. Tick the attachments and choose a Storage folder.
4. Click **Copy to Virtual Storage**.

## When to use it

> Meera in purchasing saves the signed PO PDF from a supplier's mail into Purchase/POs 2026, so she can find it at audit time and send it as a link.

## Good to know

- The copy counts towards your Storage space.
- If there is not enough space left, the copy is refused and you see a message.

## Common questions

**Is the attachment removed from the mail?**

No. The file you copy stays with the mail as well.
