# Manage lead services, types and statuses

To manage the lead lists, open **Manage Server › Manage Lead**. Use the **Add Service**, **Service Type** and **Service Status** tabs. On each tab type a name and click **Save**, or use the edit and delete actions in the table. An entry that is already in use cannot be deleted.

## How to manage lead services, types and statuses

1. Open **Manage Server › Manage Lead**.
2. Select the tab: **Add Service**, **Service Type** or **Service Status**.
3. Type the name in the box.
4. Click **Save**.
5. To change a name, click edit on its row, change the text and click **Update**.

## Fields

Lead lists are used by the XgenPlus mobile apps to manage sales leads.

The three tabs work the same way.

| **Service Type** (on **Service Type**) | The name of a service type, up to 37 characters. | Empty |

| **Save** | Adds the name. A name that already exists, whatever its capital letters, is refused with **Already Exist**. | |
| **Update** / **Reset** | Appear after you click edit on a row. **Update** saves the change and **Reset** clears the box. | |

Each tab has a table with **ID**, the name, **Date** and **Actions** (edit and delete).

## Example

> Meera, the sales operations lead at acme.in, adds the services "Email Hosting" and "Archival", the types "New" and "Renewal" and the statuses "Open", "Won" and "Lost" so the sales team can record leads in the same words.

## Good to know

- The lists are server-wide. They are not tied to one domain.
- A name that is in use cannot be deleted. Rename it with **Update** instead.

## Common questions

**Why can't I delete a service, type or status?**

XgenPlus does not allow it while the entry is in use. It shows that the name is already in use and you cannot delete it.
