# See mail traffic for every domain

To see mail traffic for every domain, open **Reports › Domain Statistics**. The table lists each domain with incoming and outgoing mail count and size, plus Total and Average rows. Click a domain to drill down by year, month and day, then to the top senders and receivers and each user's mail list.

## How to see mail traffic for every domain

1. Open **Reports › Domain Statistics**.
2. Read the **Incoming Mail / Size** and **Outgoing Mails / Size** columns for each domain, and the **Total** and **Average** rows.
3. Click a domain name to open its **Year** list, then click a year to see its months.
4. Click a month, then a day, to see the top senders and receivers for that day.
5. Click a **Username** to list that user's mails, then click a **From** address to open **Mail Log Details**.

## What each level shows

| Level | Columns and links |
|---|---|
| Domain list | **Domain Name**, **Incoming Mail / Size**, **Outgoing Mails / Size**. Rows **Total** and **Average** at the bottom. |
| Year | **Year**, **Incoming Mail / Size (KB)**, **Outgoing Mails / Size (KB)**, **Total**, **Average**. Link: **Show Domains**. |
| Month | **Month**, the same two columns, **Total**, **Average**. Link: **Show Years**. |
| Day | **Day**, the same two columns, **Total**, **Average**. Only days that have mail are listed. Links: **Show Years**, **Show Months**. |
| Day details | Four tables for the day: **Top 10 Receivers By Incoming Mails**, **Top 10 Senders By Outgoing Mails**, **Top 10 Receivers By Size** and **Top 10 Senders By Size**. Each lists **Username**, the mail count and the size in KB. |
| User's mails | **From**, **To**, **Time / Size (KB)** and **Status** (**Received** or **Sent**), with **Previous** and **Next** arrows. |
| Mail Log Details | A pop-up for one mail with **Print Report** and **Close**. |

## Buttons and links

## Example

> Rohit, the server admin at a company hosting acme.in and example.in, opens **Reports › Domain Statistics** after users complain about slow delivery. He sees acme.in has far more outgoing mail than usual, clicks it, drills down to yesterday and finds that one mailbox sent most of it.

## Good to know

- Statistics include every domain on the server except deleted ones.
- In a user's mail list, today's mails come from the live log and earlier days from stored logs.
- Archive mailboxes are left out of the top sender and receiver tables.
- There are no export buttons on these pages. For a spreadsheet, use **Reports › Graphical Report** or **Reports › Reports**.

## Common questions

**What do the two numbers in each cell mean?**

The first number is how many mails, the second is their total size. On the domain list the size switches between KB, MB, GB and TB. On the year, month and day lists it is always KB.

**Can a domain administrator see this page?**

Yes, but a domain administrator sees only their own domain, so there is no domain list to choose from. The page for domain administrators is separate.
