# Sign in with your company directory password

If your organisation connects XgenPlus to its LDAP or Active Directory server, you sign in with your normal company password, the one you use for Windows or Wi-Fi. Nothing changes on the login page. Change that password the way your IT team tells you, not in XgenPlus. Your administrator sets up the connection.

## How to sign in with your company directory password

1. Open the XgenPlus login page and enter your work address.
2. Enter your company directory password.
3. Click **Login**.

## When to use it

> A university links XgenPlus to its Active Directory. Students use one password for Wi-Fi, the learning portal and their @univ.example.in mailbox.

## Good to know

- Your administrator enters the directory server details for the domain. Users have nothing to set up.

## Common questions

**Does the directory password work in Outlook and phone apps?**

The directory password is checked for webmail sign-in, the session window and mail sent through XgenPlus services. Ask your administrator whether to use it or an app password in a mail app.

**Where do I change my password?**

In your company directory, as your IT team instructs. A change there applies to XgenPlus at your next sign-in.
