# Sign in with a code from the mobile app

To sign in without typing your password, click **Secure Login Via APP** on the login page. Open the XgenPlus mobile app on your phone, choose **Web Login** and read the 6-digit code. Enter your email address and the code, then click **Log Me In**. The code changes regularly, so use it straight away.

## How to sign in with a code from the mobile app

1. On the webmail login page, click **Secure Login Via APP**.
2. On your phone, open the XgenPlus app and choose **Web Login** to see your code.
3. Enter your email address and the 6-digit code.
4. Click **Log Me In**.

## When to use it

> Pooja has to check mail from a cyber café. She clicks **Secure Login Via APP** and types the code from her phone, so her real password is never typed on the shared keyboard.

## Good to know

- The code is time-based and changes regularly. If it is rejected, wait for the next code and try again.
- Your phone must be signed in to the XgenPlus app with the same account.
- Sign out when you finish on a shared computer.

## Common questions

**Do I need to set anything up?**

No. Sign in to the XgenPlus mobile app once. The app is linked to your account automatically, with no QR code to scan.

**Can I use Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator?**

No. Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator are not supported. Use the Web Login option in the XgenPlus app.

**What else can the code do?**

You can use the same code instead of your current password when you change your password in **Settings › Change Password**.
