# Sign in to XgenPlus

To sign in, open your organisation's webmail address, type your email address, username or registered mobile number and click **Next**. Then enter your password and click **Login**. If your account uses two-step login, enter the code you are asked for. Ask your administrator for the webmail address if you do not know it.

## How to sign in to XgenPlus

1. Open your organisation's webmail address in a browser.
2. Type your email address, username or registered mobile number and click **Next**.
3. Enter your password. Click the eye icon to check what you typed.
4. Click **Login**.
5. If asked, enter your two-step login code or set a new password.

## When to use it

> Priya, a field officer at agency.gov.in, cannot remember which address IT created for her. She types her mobile number on the login page, XgenPlus fills in priya@agency.gov.in, and she signs in with her password.

## Options

| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Remember me** | Your browser remembers you on this computer. Use it only on a device you alone use. |
| Language list | Shows the login page and your mailbox in the language you pick. |
| Eye icon | Shows the password you typed, so you can check it. |
| **Caps Lock is on** | A warning that appears while Caps Lock is on, a common cause of a wrong password. |
| **Secure Login Via APP** | Signs you in with a code from the XgenPlus mobile app instead of your password. |

## Good to know

- On a phone, the webmail address may offer the mobile app first.
- If you see "Already logged in from" an IP address, your account does not allow more than one session. Continue to end the other session.
- If your account has expired and your organisation offers renewal, a **Renew Email** button appears on the login page.

## Common questions

**Can I sign in with my mobile number?**

Yes. If your mobile number is registered on exactly one mailbox, type it in the first box and XgenPlus finds your address for you.

**Should I tick Remember me?**

Tick it only on your own computer. Your browser then remembers your sign-in details for next time. Never tick it on a shared or public computer.

**Why does the login page show my organisation's logo?**

Each organisation's login page can show its own name and details, so you know you are on the right site. Ask your administrator for the correct webmail address.
