# Lock mail in the Secure folder

The **Secure** folder keeps sensitive mail behind a second password. Click **Secure** in your folder list, enter your Secure Key and click **Show Mails**. Set or change this password in **Settings › Change Password** by choosing **Secure Folder**. If you forget it, click **Forgot Password** and verify with a code sent to your alternate email.

## How to lock mail in the Secure folder

1. Click the **Secure** folder in your folder list.
2. Enter your Secure Key, the Secure Folder password, and click **Show Mails**.
3. Move or save sensitive mail into the folder.
4. To change the password, open **Settings › Change Password**, choose **Secure Folder** and click **Update**.

## When to use it

> Shalini in HR keeps salary negotiations in the Secure folder. If she steps away with her mailbox open, nobody passing by can read them.

## Good to know

- The Secure folder has its own storage quota, set by your administrator. If it is zero, ask them for space.
- You can choose **Secure** as the folder where sent copies are saved.
- The new Secure Folder password follows your organisation's password rules.

## Common questions

**Is the Secure Folder password the same as my login password?**

No. It is a separate password, so a colleague at your unlocked desk still cannot open the folder.

**I forgot the Secure Folder password. What now?**

Click **Forgot Password** on the Secure folder screen, get a code by email, and set a new password.
