# Start the one-month trial

To start the trial, open the buy page on xgenplus.com and choose **XGEN Trial**. It gives up to 5 mailboxes on your domain for one month at ₹2 per user before GST. It does not renew and cannot be mixed with other plans. Upgrade to a paid plan from your dashboard when ready.

## How to start the one-month trial

1. Open the buy page and choose **XGEN Trial**.
2. Create your account and confirm the code.
3. Add your domain and set the administrator login.
4. Set the number of users, up to 5.
5. Pay the trial fee and verify your domain.

## When to use it

> Anita wants her team of four to try XgenPlus before the company commits. She starts the trial on example.in, tests mail on phones and in Outlook for a month, and then upgrades the same domain to a paid plan.

## Good to know

- The trial fee is not refundable once the trial account is set up. If setup fails on our side, you can ask for a refund.
- Plus Packs need a paid plan. Upgrade first.
- The on-premise trial on the website is a separate installer download for your own servers.

## Common questions

**Is the trial free?**

No. It is a paid evaluation plan at ₹2 per user for one month, before GST. There are no recurring charges.

**What happens when the month ends?**

The trial expires. To keep your mailboxes, upgrade the domain to a paid plan from the **Users** tab of your dashboard before it ends.

**Can I mix the trial with other plans?**

No. The trial runs on its own. Upgrade to a paid plan first if you want a mix.
