# Claim your partner commission

Commission accrues when a customer order is paid. When your accrued commission reaches the minimum, open **Commission** in the partner dashboard, click **Claim your commission** and confirm. A proforma invoice is generated, and payment follows to your registered bank account. You need your bank details saved under **Account**.

## How to claim your partner commission

1. Open **Account** and check your payout bank details and registered address.
2. Open **Commission** and read **Claimable now**.
3. Click **Claim your commission** and confirm the entries.
4. Find the claim number in **Commission claims**, and download the **Proforma**.
5. Wait for payment. The payment reference appears in the claim.

## When to use it

> By October, Sunil's accrued commission has crossed the minimum. He confirms his bank details, claims it, downloads the proforma and sees the payment reference a few days later.

## Commission rates

| Active domains | Rate |
|---|---|
| 1 to 3 | 15% |
| 4 to 6 | 17% |
| 7 or more | 20% |

The customer always pays list price and never sees the commission. A new domain earns the slab for your total including it. Each existing domain moves to your current slab when it renews.

## Good to know

- Commission is paid on the first order, added users and every renewal, calculated on the amount before GST.
- Payment is by bank transfer, with TDS deducted as applicable.
- If you are not GST-registered, you raise your own invoice to XgenPlus for the net amount, and there is no credit balance to top up.
- GST-registered partners can add prepaid credit under **Credits**, pay any order from it in one click, and have commission settle back to the balance.
- The ledger lists each entry with date, domain, customer, rate, order value, status and invoice. Entries are **accrued** until claimed and then **settled**.

## Common questions

**What is the minimum for a claim?**

The programme page says you raise a claim once your accrued commission reaches Rs 5,000. The Commission tab shows the minimum.

**Does a claim change my slab?**

No. A claim settles every eligible entry under one claim number and your accrued figure restarts from zero. Your slab does not change.

**Which orders earn commission?**

The rate is set on the first paid order of at least 500 rupees before GST, or 2 mailboxes. Trial plans never earn commission.
