# Create your XgenPlus account

To create your XgenPlus account, choose a plan on xgenplus.com, then fill in **Let's get started** with your name, mobile number, email address and organisation name. Click **Create account**, enter the code from your XgenPlus app and click **Verify & create account**. You then continue to set up your domain.

## How to create your XgenPlus account

1. Choose a plan on the buy page. You can change it later in the same order.
2. Under **Number of Employees**, pick your size, or **Just me**.
3. Enter your first name, last name, **Mobile Number**, **Email Address** and **Business / Organization Name**.
4. Fill in the alternate contact, or tick **Same as business / organization details**. The **Alternate Email Address** is optional.
5. Click **Create account**.
6. Type the code (TOTP) from the XgenPlus app on **Verify your account** and click **Verify & create account**.

## When to use it

> Rohit runs accounts at Acme India and has been asked to move the company's email to XgenPlus. He opens the buy page, picks a plan and signs up with his work email and mobile number. Once he confirms the code, he is ready to add acme.in.

## What you are asked for

| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| **Number of Employees** | **Just me**, 2 to 9, 10 to 49, 50 to 299 or 300+. It tailors your setup and does not lock you into a plan. |
| Name, **Mobile Number**, **Email Address** | You are the person who will manage the account. |
| **Business / Organization Name** | Your organisation. |
| Alternate details | A second contact. The same details can be reused with one tick. |
| **Alternate Email Address** | Optional. Used for recovery. |

## Good to know

- Sign-up needs a code (TOTP) from the XgenPlus app. WhatsApp is not required.
- All prices on the buy pages are in Indian rupees.
- Already have an account? Use **Login** on the same page instead.

## Common questions

**I did not get the code. What should I do?**

The code comes from the XgenPlus app, so open the app and read the current code. After too many wrong tries you must ask for a new code.

**Which email address should I use as the alternate email?**

Use an address you already have, not one on the new domain, because that domain is not ready yet.
