# Search your Storage files on Android

In Storage in the XgenPlus app, tap Search. Choose Filename, Filetype or Folder, type your text and tap search. Use * as a wildcard, for example pdf in Filetype. Results are grouped by folder, and each file offers Send Link, Delete and Download.

## How to search your Storage files on Android

1. Open **Storage** and tap the search icon.
2. Choose **Filename**, **Filetype** or **Folder**.
3. Type your text. Use * as a wildcard.
4. Tap the search button.
5. Open a result, or use **Send Link**, **Delete** or **Download** on a file.

## When to use it

> Anita needs last quarter's agreements. She searches **Filetype** for "pdf" and sees every PDF grouped by folder.

## Good to know

- Search covers all your Storage folders.
- Search needs internet.

**What if I search with no text?**

The app asks you to enter search text.
