# Open the app settings

Open the menu and tap Settings in the bottom bar. The list shows General settings, which apply to every account, and one row for each account, which opens that account's own settings. Tap Add account in the same list to add another mailbox.

## How to open the app settings

1. Open the menu.
2. Tap **Settings** in the bottom bar.
3. Tap **General settings**, or tap an account name for that account's settings.

## When to use it

> Meera wants dark mode for the whole app but a different notification sound for her office account. She uses General settings for the first and the account row for the second.
