# Change theme, fonts and display

Open Settings, General settings, Display. Choose Light, Dark or Use system default for Theme, switch animations on or off, and set the font size for lists, messages and the compose editor. Turn on Show Unified Inbox to read all accounts in one list.

## How to change theme, fonts and display

1. Open **Settings** and tap **General settings**.
2. Tap **Display**.
3. Change **Theme**, **Animation** or open **Configure font size**.
4. Go back. Changes apply at once.

## When to use it

> Rohit reads mail at night, so he sets **Theme** to Dark and enlarges the message body text.

## Good to know

- On Android 8 and older only Light and Dark are offered.
- Show Unified Inbox is switched off automatically when you have only one account.
