# Send mail waiting in the Outbox

Mail that cannot be sent right away waits in the Outbox. Open the Outbox from the menu, tap the overflow menu and choose Send messages to try again. If sending fails, XgenPlus shows a notification titled Failed to send some messages. Tap it to open the Outbox.

## How to send mail waiting in the Outbox

1. Open the menu and tap **Outbox**.
2. Tap the overflow menu.
3. Tap **Send messages**.
4. Wait for the message "Mail Sent Successfully".

## When to use it

> Suresh writes a reply in a lift with no signal. The mail waits in the Outbox, and he sends it when he is back online.

## Options

| Message you may see | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Internet connection not available. | You are offline. Try again when connected. |
| Authentication failed. Please check your email password. | The password for the account is wrong or changed. |
| Secure connection failed. Please check your account settings. | The server settings need checking. |
| Server certificate error. Please check your account settings. | The server certificate was not accepted. |
| Network error. Message saved and will retry automatically. | A temporary problem. The app tries again. |

## Good to know

- Wrong passwords and similar permanent problems alert you at once. For short network problems the alert waits until later attempts have also failed.
- In the Outbox you can select a mail and use **Move to Drafts** to edit it.
- Pull to refresh is turned off in the Outbox.
- The app has no list of scheduled mails or undo send. Use the web for those.
