# Add an inbox list widget

Press and hold your home screen, open Widgets and add the XgenPlus Message List widget. It shows recent mail from your Unified Inbox. Tap a row to open that message, tap the header to open the Unified Inbox, or tap the new message button to compose. Resize it to see more rows.

## How to add an inbox list widget

1. Press and hold an empty spot on the home screen and open **Widgets**.
2. Add the **XgenPlus Message List** widget.
3. Resize it to fit the rows you want.
4. Tap a row to open that mail.

## When to use it

> Anita triages her mail from the home screen before opening the app.

## Good to know

- There is no setup screen for this widget.
- It refreshes when mail changes, and at least once a day on its own. It shows "Loading..." while it starts.
- It also works on the lock screen where your phone allows it.
