# Open the XgenPlus app for the first time

Install XgenPlus from Google Play and open it. On first launch you choose a language, see a welcome screen and tap Set up my email to add your account. After that the app opens straight to your mailbox each time.

## How to open the XgenPlus app for the first time

1. Install XgenPlus from Google Play and tap its icon.
2. On **Choose Language**, pick your language and tap **Continue**.
3. On the welcome screen, tap **Set up my email**.
4. Add your account (see the related page) and allow notifications when asked.

## When to use it

> Rohit gets a new phone. He installs XgenPlus, picks Hindi, taps **Set up my email** and has his office mailbox on the phone in a few minutes.

Get the app from [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bharatsync.communicator). Android shows the app name as XgenPlus.

## What the app does when it starts

| Situation | What happens |

| No account yet | Language screen, then the welcome screen |
| Account already added | The mailbox opens |
| App lock is on | The app asks you to unlock before it opens the mailbox |

## Good to know

- The welcome screen shows **Set up my email**. That is the only way forward on a fresh install.
- You can change the language later from the menu, see the related page.
- If you leave account setup before the last screen, the unfinished account is discarded. Start again from the welcome screen.
