# Block a sender or domain on Android

Open the unwanted mail in the XgenPlus app, tap the menu and choose Block. Pick Block Email From the sender or Block All Email From the domain, then tap Block. To undo, open the menu in a mail list, tap Unblock Email / Domain, tick the entries and tap Unblock.

## How to block a sender or domain on Android

1. Open the mail from the sender you want to stop.
2. Tap the menu, then **Block**.
3. In **Block Unwanted Email**, choose the sender address or the whole domain.
4. Tap **Block**. A result list shows each address and the outcome.
5. To undo, open the menu in a mail list, tap **Unblock Email / Domain**, tick the entries and tap **Unblock**.

## When to use it

> A shop keeps sending promotions to Anita. She opens one, taps **Block** and chooses all mail from the shop's domain.

## Good to know

- Blocking is applied on the XgenPlus server, so the mail is stopped before it reaches your phone.
- It needs an internet connection and is available for XgenPlus mailboxes.
- If you select nothing, the app says **Nothing selected**.

## Common questions

**Does blocking delete mail I already received?**

No. It only stops future mail from that address or domain.

**Why is the domain option missing?**

The domain choice is hidden for your own domain.
