# Add Gmail or another mail account

To add a Gmail, Yahoo, AOL or Outlook mailbox, type the address and tap Next. The app opens your browser to sign in. For any other IMAP or POP3 mailbox, tap Manual Setup, choose the account type, then enter the incoming and outgoing server settings from your mail provider.

## How to add Gmail or another mail account

1. Open the menu, tap your account name and tap **Add New Account**.
2. Type the email address and tap **Next**. For Gmail, Yahoo, AOL or Outlook the browser opens: sign in and return to the app.
3. For other providers, type the password and tap **Manual Setup**.
4. On **Account type**, tap **IMAP** or **POP3**.
5. Check **Incoming server settings** and **Outgoing server settings** and tap **Next** on each.
6. On **Account options**, choose the poll frequency and message count, then finish with your name.

## When to use it

> Suresh keeps a Gmail account for personal mail. He adds it to XgenPlus, signs in through the browser and sees both mailboxes in one app.

The app suggests server names from your address, such as imap.example.in and smtp.example.in. Replace them with the names your provider gave you.

## Good to know

- A browser must be installed for Gmail, Yahoo, AOL and Outlook sign-in. If you cancel, you see "OAuth flow canceled".
- After you tap **Next** on each server screen the app checks the login. If the server certificate is not trusted a box lets you review and accept it for that server.
- Features that need XgenPlus, such as Web Login, show only for your XgenPlus account. Other accounts get the core mail features.
- The limit of 10 accounts applies to all accounts together.
