# Join a video meeting from a link

To join a meeting, click the **VideoMeet** icon in the top bar and click **Join Meeting** under **Got a meeting join link?**. Paste the VideoMeet link you received, enter your display name and click **Join**. The meeting opens inside your mailbox. You can also simply click the link in the invitation mail to open it in your browser.

## How to join a video meeting from a link

1. Click the **VideoMeet** icon in the top bar.
2. Click **Join Meeting**.
3. Paste the join link and enter your display name.
4. Click **Join**.

## When to use it

> A vendor sends Rohit a VideoMeet link for a product demo. He pastes it under Join Meeting and is in the call within seconds, with nothing to install.

## Good to know

- Only VideoMeet join links work here. For links to other meeting services, open them in your browser.

## Common questions

**Why does it say "Enter Valid Join Link"?**

The link is not a VideoMeet join link. Copy the full link from the invitation and paste it again.
