When you attach a photo, XgenPlus asks "Do you want to convert your image to small size?" and shows a preview. Choose **Small Size**, **Medium Size**, **Large Size** or **Actual Size** under **Compression Options**, then click **Attach & Convert**. Click **No! Thanks** to attach the photo as it is.

## How to shrink photos when you attach them

1. Attach a photo with the paper clip or by dragging it in.
2. In the dialog, check the preview.
3. Under **Compression Options**, choose a size.
4. Click **Attach & Convert**, or **No! Thanks** to keep the original.

## When to use it

> Manoj, a site engineer, takes six photos of a crack in a wall on his phone. Each is several MB. He attaches them at Medium Size so the mail goes through quickly and the photos are still clear.
