# Reply with AI Reply

To reply with AI, open the mail and click **Reply** or **Reply All**. In the reply window, click the **Ai reply** icon at the bottom right. XgenPlus reads the original mail and drafts a reply. Change the language, tone or length and click **Rewrite** if needed, then click **Use this as Reply** and edit before sending.

## How to reply with AI Reply

1. Open the mail and click **Reply** or **Reply All**.
2. Click the **Ai reply** icon at the bottom right of the reply window. A suggested reply appears.
3. Optionally, click the gear icon to change the language, tone, length or creativity, or type your own instruction.
4. Click **Rewrite** to get a new draft with your changes.
5. Click **Use this as Reply** to put the draft in the body, then edit it and click **Send**.

## When to use it

> Vikram in procurement gets a vendor mail saying a delivery will be late. He clicks Reply, then Ai reply, and gets a firm but polite draft asking for a revised delivery date. He switches the tone to Friendly, clicks Rewrite, uses the reply and adds the PO number.

## Options

| Creativity | A slider for how freely the reply is worded. |
| Instruction box | Tell AI Reply what to say, for example "accept the new date but ask for a discount". |
| **Rewrite** | Drafts the reply again with your settings and instruction. |
| **Copy** | Copies the suggestion. |
| **Use this as Reply** | Inserts the suggestion into the reply body. |

## Good to know

- AI Reply works in both new and Classic compose. In Classic it is headed **AI Powered Reply**.
- Always read the suggestion and correct names, dates and amounts before sending.
- To write a new mail from scratch with AI, use AI Compose.

## Common questions

**Can a suggestion appear as soon as I click Reply?**

Yes. Turn on **Auto reply** in the AI Reply panel. A suggestion is then drafted every time you open a reply.

**Why can't I see the Ai reply icon?**

AI Reply is on by default, but your domain administrator can turn it off. Ask your admin if the icon is missing.

**Which languages can AI Reply write in?**

English, Hindi, Assamese, Bangla, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi and Telugu.
