# Read an organisation broadcast mail

A broadcast mail is an official announcement your administrator sends to everyone in the organisation. It is marked **Broadcast** in the mail list and opens like any other mail, but you cannot delete, block or snooze it, so official notices stay available. You can still read it and download its attachments.

## How to read an organisation broadcast mail

1. Look for the **Broadcast** icon in your mail list.
2. Click the mail to read it.
3. Download any attachments you need from the attachments panel.

## When to use it

> The IT team at acme.in sends a new IT policy circular as a broadcast. Every employee keeps it in their mailbox, and nobody can delete or block it by mistake.

## Good to know

- **Delete**, **Block**, **Snooze** and **Interaction** are hidden on broadcast mails.
