# Find mailing list posts awaiting approval

To find mailing list posts waiting for your approval, expand **Category** in the left pane and click **Pendings**. It lists the mails sent to mailing lists where you are an approver and that are held until someone approves them. Open a mail to check it and act on it. If you are not an approver, the list stays empty.

## How to find mailing list posts awaiting approval

1. In the left pane, click **Category** to expand the list.
2. Click **Pendings**.
3. Open a held mail to read it before it goes to the list.
4. Act on it from the open mail.

## When to use it

> Sunita heads HR at acme.in and approves posts to the all-staff list. A colleague's announcement is held for approval, so she opens Pendings, reads it and lets it go to the list.

## Good to know

- Your administrator decides who approves posts for each mailing list.
- Most of the usual list actions are hidden in **Pendings**. Open a mail to deal with it.
