# Mail a user group from the admin console

To mail a user group as a domain administrator, open the admin console, go to **Manage Groups**, select the group and click **Send Mail**. A **Compose Group Mail** window opens. Write the mail, attach files if needed and send it to every member of the group. This option is in the classic admin console.

## How to mail a user group from the admin console

1. Open the admin console and go to **Manage Groups**.
2. Select the user group.
3. Click **Send Mail**. The **Compose Group Mail** window opens.
4. Write the mail and add attachments if needed.
5. Send the mail.

## Example

> The domain admin at acme.in mails the All-Staff user group about a planned maintenance window on Saturday night, with the schedule attached.

## Good to know

- The mail goes to the members of a user group in your domain, not to a personal contact group.
