# Delete all mail from a sender at once

To delete every mail from a sender, select one of their mails, click the arrow next to **Delete** and choose **Bulk Delete**. A search opens with the sender filled in. Click **Search**, tick Select All, choose **Select all N emails** and confirm. XgenPlus shows the count and total size before deleting.

## How to delete all mail from a sender at once

1. In the mail list, tick one mail from the sender you want to clear out.
2. Click the arrow next to **Delete** and choose **Bulk Delete**. A search titled **Search Email to delete in Bulk** opens with the sender filled in.
3. Change the filters if you need to, for example a date range, and click **Search**.
4. Tick Select All, then choose **Select all N emails**. The number of mails and their total size are shown.
5. Click **Delete** and confirm.

## When to use it

> Anita's mailbox at example.in is nearly full. An old monitoring system sent her 4,200 alert mails over two years. She selects one alert, opens **Bulk Delete**, searches and deletes all 4,200 in one go.

## Good to know

- Bulk Delete works on your own folders only. Shared folders and archive search are not included.
- You see how many mails match and their total size before anything is deleted, so you can check the search first.
- If your administrator has switched off deleting for your account, Bulk Delete is not available.
