# Let recipients unsubscribe from group mail

When you send group or personalised bulk mail from XgenPlus, an unsubscribe link is added for you. If a recipient clicks it, XgenPlus adds them to an **UNSUBSCRIBE** group in your contacts, created automatically, and your later group sends skip them. You do not have to edit your lists by hand. Your administrator can also pass opt-outs to another system.

## How to let recipients unsubscribe from group mail

1. Send group or personalised mail as usual. The unsubscribe link is added.
2. Recipients who click it are added to your **UNSUBSCRIBE** group.
3. Send your next group mail. People in that group are skipped.

## When to use it

> A school office at example.in sends a monthly newsletter to parents as group mail. Parents who opt out are skipped automatically, and the clerk never has to edit the list.

## Good to know

- To unsubscribe from newsletters you receive, see the reading-side unsubscribe option.

## Common questions

**Can I see who unsubscribed?**

Yes. Open the **UNSUBSCRIBE** group in your contacts.

**Someone unsubscribed by mistake. How do I add them back?**

Remove them from the **UNSUBSCRIBE** group. Later sends include them again.
