# Sync contacts and calendar to your phone

To have your XgenPlus contacts and calendar on your phone, install the XgenPlus mobile app and sign in. The app syncs your contacts, the organisation's global address book and your own and shared calendars with webmail automatically, in both directions. A meeting you accept on the phone appears in the web calendar moments later.

## How to sync contacts and calendar to your phone

1. Install the XgenPlus mobile app and sign in.
2. Open contacts or calendar in the app. Sync starts by itself.
3. Add or change a contact or event on either side. It appears on the other side shortly.

## When to use it

> Meera accepts a client meeting on her phone in a taxi. By the time she reaches her desk, the meeting is in her web calendar and her team can see she is busy.

## Common questions

**Can I sync my XgenPlus calendar with the iPhone or Android calendar app?**

Not directly. There is no ActiveSync or CalDAV route. Sync your contacts and calendar with the XgenPlus apps instead.
