## When to use it

> Imran wants his acme.in mail in the iPhone's own Mail app. He creates an app password called "iPhone-Mail" and adds the account in a few minutes.

## Settings to enter

| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Incoming mail server | imaps.xgenplus.com, port 993, SSL on |
| Outgoing mail server | smtps.xgenplus.com, port 465, SSL on (or port 587 with STARTTLS) |
| User name | Your full email address, for both servers |
| Password | Your XgenPlus app password, for both servers |

## Good to know

- Menu names in the Settings app differ slightly between iOS versions.
- If the iPhone shows the account as unverified, open the account's advanced settings and check that SSL is on and the ports are correct.
- These server names are the same for every XgenPlus customer. Check the spelling, the ports and that your app password is correct.
