# Share your calendar with colleagues

To share a calendar, open **Calendar**, tick the calendar under **My Calendar** and click the share (hand) icon. Enter a colleague's email address, choose **See all event details of calendar** or **Make changes to calendar**, click **Add Person**, then **Save**. You can share only with people in your own domain.

## How to share your calendar with colleagues

1. Open **Calendar** from the top bar.
2. In the left pane, under **My Calendar**, tick the calendar or calendars you want to share.
3. Click the share icon (**Click to share above checked calendars**).
4. Enter a colleague's email address and choose a permission.
5. Click **Add Person**, then click **Save**.

## When to use it

> Meera is executive assistant to the director at acme.in. The director shares his calendar with her using **Make changes to calendar**, so Meera can book and move his meetings herself.

## Options

| Permission | What the colleague can do |
|---|---|
| **See all event details of calendar** | View every event and its details. They cannot change anything. |
| **Make changes to calendar** | View events and also add, edit and delete them. |

## Good to know

- You cannot share a calendar with yourself or with one of your own aliases.
- Colleagues find your calendar under **Shared Calendar** in their left pane.
- To give someone outside your domain a copy of your events, export the calendar as an .ics file.

## Common questions

**Can I share my calendar with someone outside my organisation?**

No. The address must be in your own domain. To give an outside person your events, export them as an .ics file instead.

**How do I stop sharing?**

Open the share window again and click **click to un-share** next to the person, then save.
